Pat Butcher (Pam St Clement) was killed off in emotional scenes in 2012, before staging a surprising return as a ghost for Peggy Mitchell’s (Barbara Windsor) final episodes in 2015. Now, a Reddit user is keen for her to return, and has thought up a storyline for son David Wicks that would facilitate her returning as an hallucination. ‘Cindy came back from the dead and David may have psychosis episodes where he hallucinates Pat believing that Pat is back too.’ David is set to return to our screens later this year, though his return storyline is being kept strictly under wraps.
