Emmerdale fans have been willing for Tom King’s abuse of Belle Dingle

(Eden Taylor-Draper) to be discovered, and actor James Chase is also keen to

see him get his comeuppance. Evil Tom has been abusing poor Belle for

several months, with his controlling and aggressive behaviour becoming more and more horrifying. Speaking to Metro.co.uk at the Radio Times Soap Awards, James revealed the reaction he has had from fans who are keen to see Belle escape their marriage, revealing that he has had ‘a few’ messages. ‘Mainly light hearted, and people having fun. But that’s going to happen, because Belle is such a sweet character and she’s such a lovely person,’ he told us.

‘I think he should [get caught out], personally, because Belle needs justice for it. And I think for all of the women watching the story, they would like to see that justice served.’ Recently, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) began to grow suspicious of Tom, after noticing changes in Belle’s behaviour.
