comments on the latest episode of her podcast TV star Natalie Cassidy has made a cryptic comment about some members of the EastEnders cast on the latest episode of her podcast. Speaking with her partner Marc Humphreys on episode 26 of ‘Life with Nat’ in an episode titled ‘Scraping the barrel’, she spoke about her working relationship with the crew on the hit British staple. Discussing that relationship, she spoke about her interest in how shows get put together, and how that fascination could, at times, be irritating to others. Furthermore, Natalie also highlighted her belief that the sound department “gets forgotten about” and praised the team for just getting on with their jobs amongst the melee of filming.

Natalie explained: “I’m always nice to the crew, you know I am… On a serious note, the crew are more my friends than anyone else. “I’m very interested in every part of it and how it goes together. I think also once you’ve worked somewhere for 30 years, give and take… “I just like to keep myself occupied which also is not always a good thing because you’re actually getting involved in someone else’s job quite a lot of the time. I’m very nosey and I do get involved in things I probably shouldn’t. “You should really let people get on with their own jobs. No one steps in and does my lines…I’ve got a keen interest in every department…a very keen interest in directors.”

Powered by “I just feel that lighting has their time, cameras have their time and the boom guys, the ops, just get on with it.

I never hear them moaning…they just get on with it don’t they?” During her conversation with her other half Marc, who is a television cameraman himself, Natalie reflected on the nature of their jobs and how lucky they are that they get to do what they do, rather than going to an office every day. Natalie explained: “I love chatting about work and I do love filming different sets, different things, I feel like we’re very very lucky in our careers. I can’t imagine going to the same office every day and seeing the same people…I just can’t imagine doing that.”
