Lizzie dropped a huge bombshell at the end of Virgin River season 5, part 1 and now fans have questions.
Just as Charmaine Roberts’ (played by Lauren Hammersley) twins storyline took another twist,
there was a fresh baby mystery on the horizon after she had to be rushed to hospital.
Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) discovered she may be pregnant just as her fledgling romance with Denny Cutler (Kai Bradbury) was taking off. Denny asked Lizzie if she would leave behind Virgin River and travel the world with him, only for the former wayward teen to serve up her own twist.
Who is the father of Lizzie’s baby?
There seem to be two potential candidates here with the first being Lizzie’s ex-boyfriend Ricky Sudder (Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey).
The pair were caught sleeping together by Connie (Nicola Cavendish) and forbidden from seeing each other.
Despite this, Lizzie and Ricky had a romance which ended after he lied to her.
The pair remained on civil terms but everything changed when Denny arrived in town with Lizzie’s head very much turned by the newcomer.
Denny and Lizzie had a simmering will they/won’t they chemistry throughout season four before deciding to be together.
They eventually slept together in season five after she learnt about Denny’s Huntington’s Disease diagnosis and the couple not wanting to waste whatever time they had left together.
