8 Old Chicago Fire Characters Fans Want to Bring Back

They’ll forever live in our hearts, but we’d rather they kept living in Chicago

instead of moving away. We’re with fans on this one and we want them back!

8. Allison Rafferty Starting off with a controversial character,

Allison Rafferty was only present in Season 2 but still divides fans. Some hate her for her prejudice against Shay just because she once knew a lesbian who wasn’t cool; others praise her professional ethics and attitude — but everyone agrees they’d like to see where she’s at now.

7. Jimmy Borrelli Jimmy Borrelli was one of the candidates for Truck 81 in Seasons 4 & 5. His personality clashed with the discipline required of him and led to a tragedy: after disobeying Chief Boden’s orders, he was severely injured and lost an eye. While his firefighting career ended prematurely, fans would love to see how his life turned out. Despite his (Chicago) Fiery character, Borrelli didn’t deserve what happened to him.

6. Kevin Hadley Everyone’s favorite serial arsonist, Hadley was first introduced as a well-established member of Firehouse 51. If not for his pointless vendetta against his colleagues, he could have remained hidden for much longer, resulting in an interesting dynamic… But hey, people tend to return from prisons, so it’d be cool to have him back! As a changed man or “the infamous serial arsonist strikes again,” he’d shake things up.

5. Emily Foster Among the most requested Chicago Fire comebacks is Emily Foster. A former paramedic, Foster was always beloved by fans who were sympathetic to her. Between losing her mother, struggling financially, and re-do her medical studies, her life was never easy, and seeing her achieve well-deserved success would be great. Foster has gone through a lot, so a proper plot reward would only be fitting.

4. Jessica Chilton Our personal favorite, Chili is also a popular request among fans. While rather short, her presence on the show added a lot of spice to it, and she was rather unjustly Chicago Fired from Firehouse 51. While Severide was working traumatized and drugged, Chili was booted for drinking after losing her sister… Just bring her back! If anyone deserves a second chance after a screw-up, it’s her. In our eyes, anyway.

3. Peter Mills Obviously, Mills is also really high in the list of requests. Once the protagonist of Chicago Fire, he left for North Carolina to run a family restaurant in Season 3 and hasn’t been heard from ever since. For OG fans, Peter Mills still remains the face of the show, so having him back for a while to see how he’s been would be awesome.

2. Sylvie Brett Let’s be real here: Brett literally only just left the show — and yet, fans had begun missing her in advance. On par with late Shay, Brett was among the most universally adored Firehouse 51 members, and while we’re all happy for her and Casey, it just doesn’t feel the same without her. We hope she’ll call our guys, at least — or, better yet, return together with her husband. Her fate was milder than Shay’s, after all.

1. Matthew Casey No “we want them back” Chicago Fire list can be complete with the man, the myth, the legend. Even Severide feels lost without Casey, let alone us viewers at home! We’re sure he has a nice house there in Oregon and his life will only be getting progressively better now that Sylvie is with him, but we also want some of that happiness. We can only pray Brett and Casey visit Firehouse 51 from time to time.
