Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful,

posted a selfie on social media sporting a scowl. But fans need not worry;

as he graciously explained, it comes with the territory.

Double Duty on the Show
Lawrence Saint-Victor has become a fan favorite playing the always cool and collected Carter on B&B. His character has been in several relationships over the years, the most popular of which was his pairing with Quinn (Rena Sofer), and the fans lovingly squished their names to “Quarter.”

But he doesn’t just act on the show, he’s also become one of the writers. In January 2023, he told TV Insider, “I’ve gotten outlines for shows in which Carter appears,” adding, “They’re fun to write. I really enjoy taking a step back and seeing things from the point of view of other characters. Writing allows me to help understand Carter better. Seeing things before they take shape is helpful.”

Recently, he shared a selfie as he sat at an airport waiting area on Instagram, with the caption, “When you’re in the airport, headed out of town to shoot a DOPE project, but still need to put the finishing touches on your @boldandbeautifulcbs script. Happy Sunday!! Don’t mind the scowl, it’s 5AM 😂😂.” With all that on his plate, it’s no wonder he didn’t appear outwardly happy in the photo, but make no mistake, he’s having the time of his life helping to shape the soap’s characters.

Co-star Sean Kanan (Deacon) cheekily responded, “I know you are busy writing me some of your amazing dialogue…Right?”

One fan wrote, “I just want Hope and Thomas back together” (to which Saint-VIctor shared some heart emojis), and another countered with, “Nah. I’m loving all the new twists and turns!! Breaking outta the same old storylines. It’s unpredictable now, and I can’t wait for the next episode!👏👏👏.”

Another follower also replied, “Gimme Thope and write a Quarter reunion for extra seasoning. 😂❤️,” which Saint-Victor doubled down on those emojis, responding, “❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂.” Thope, of course, is the squish name for Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope (Annika Noelle). Fans Shared What They Wish To See
He’s definitely soaking up all the fan input, but at the end of the day, he’s just writing scripts, and it’s up to the executive producer and head writers to determine couplings and characters, as one of the fans pointed out. The writer/actor responded to that, expressing, “Very true. I don’t decide the story or what the characters do 💯❤️.” As fans continued to share their desire to see certain characters back together, he teased with the emojis, “❤️❤️❤️🤐🤐🤐,” meaning his lips are sealed at the moment and there will be no spoilers there.

Another of his followers held out hope for Carter and a possible return of Quinn, writing, “Yes we are still waiting for our Quarter reunion and when it happens it will be one of the biggest reunions of all time.”

And one fan lovingly worried for his health, writing, “[Lawrence Saint-Victor] I want a new man for Hope. How about a new character? Make sure you’re getting enough sleep. Don’t work too many hours. Our bodies heal when we sleep. 🛌.”
