Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ Angelica King’s bombshell ahead of return – and it’s explosive

Emmerdale fans are convinced Angelica King has a huge bombshell in store for the villagers.

Angelica, portrayed by Rebecca Bakes, first graced our screens on the ITV hit series in 2009. As the

offspring of the iconic Nicola (played by Nicola Wheeler), Angelica quickly became a staple character

in the Dales. She was at the centre of a gut-wrenching plot over New Year when Heath Hope (acted by Sebastian Dowling) met his demise in a tragic car accident. Devotees of the soap will remember the youngster’s untimely departure. But in a jaw-dropping development this March, Angelica found herself handed down a sentence to a Secure Children’s Home after confessing to playing a role in Heath’s unfortunate fate. During the court session, the judge declared that Angelica would be detained as there was “no alternative” given the gravity of her actions. However, he noted her sentence would be reduced thanks to her admission of guilt and prior statements, reports the Express. Angelica ended up getting eight months in a secure children’s home.

Subsequent revelations disclosed that the troubled teen would be relocated to a facility in Bristol a hefty four-hour journey from her home village. Recent episodes have dropped hints about Angelica’s challenging experiences at the Secure Children’s Home, initially facing harassment but now seemingly stirring up trouble herself. In a poignant scene, Jimmy (Nick Miles), Angelica’s father, expressed his sorrow, confessing that she’s “not my little Angel anymore”. Emmerdale’s Angela is set for a sensational return to the Dales, and actor Rebecca Sarker spoke to Digital Spy at the Radio Times Soap Awards last weekend about her comeback. She dished out: “It should be at the end of September, so in a few months maybe!

I don’t really know because we haven’t started filming anything yet.” With fans eager to know if Angelica’s character will take a dark turn this autumn, Rebecca teased: “I don’t know, it could go in the direction of her being a rebel or going a bit downhill but I don’t really know yet! “. But Emmerdale enthusiasts are convinced Angelica will drop a massive shocker on her family upon her comeback. Chiming in on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one viewer speculated: “She’ll be back pregnant with Heath’s child most likely.” Another chimed in with their two cents: “I have a feeling that’s what’s exactly going to happen! ” And a third fan predicted: “Probably pregnant or ends up with Samson’s awful mate.”
