to Walford. Fans of the BBC soap are convinced that Danny Dyer is making a comeback to the BBC soap after a number of mentions as his wife Linda Carter struggles through Father’s Day – but is he coming back, and how could he make his return? EastEnders executive producer Chris Clenshaw has teased that Mick might not be dead. Speaking before the big Christmas death reveal – which ended up with Keanu actor Danny Walters bowing out of the soap – Chris said: “It’s a soap, anything can happen! There wasn’t a body so there’s every chance, will Mick rock back up in Walford in a few years covered in seaweed?”

Danny also teased that that could be an option, adding: “If it goes t*ts up I can go back. I can turn up in three years’ time, walk in the Queen Vic smothered in seaweed…” explaining the show bosses “wanted to keep it open”. He also said at the time that he was “very privileged and grateful for that job” which “really did change my career and my life”. Could Mick Carter be coming back? Could Mick Carter be coming back? ( Image: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron) Danny also compared his character to Neighbours stalwart Harold Bishop. “A few people have mentioned him to me because he died, didn’t he?

And then he came back, washed up funnily enough… he lost his memory,” he said. The actor played Mick Carter for several years after his shock exit a couple of years back. Speaking about his exit, he previously said: “I didn’t quite know how [Mick’s final scenes were] gonna go down. “I felt my character had lost his way. I didn’t quite know who I was playing anymore, it was a really odd thing. I’m very grateful for that job. It was a good gig, but now it’s time to move on. I wanna get out again and make some low-budget films.” Now fans have had their say – with some convinced he will make a return to Albert Square to reunite with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright). Some viewers believe he will make a return and his reason for staying away will be because he feels guilt over all that has gone on. However, others are convinced he could make his comeback in a memory loss storyline – but will he be back?
