Before Mel met Jack, another man entered her life. We met Mark,
her deceased husband, through flashbacks – the actor who played
him hinted that he would appear in “Virgin River”.
In the season 3 finale of “Virgin River,” it turns out that Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) is pregnant, which is a real shock to Jack (Martin Henderson). In addition, it is unknown whether the father is the heroine’s grandfather or the deceased husband. We met Mark (Daniel Gillies) through flashbacks, showing how his trying to have a child and giving birth to a stillborn daughter affected his marriage to Mel. Daniel Gillies hinted that we will see him again.
Virgin River Part 4 – Will Mel’s Dead Husband Return?
The actor gave an interview to “Mr Warburton Magazine” (via Express). There’s a question of whether we’ll see him again in “Virgin River.”
Does this mean we’ll learn more about Mel’s past? And whose baby is she carrying? Alexandra Breckenridge said she now knows who the father is. Showrunner Sue Tenney, on the other hand, didn’t reveal much. “You’ll know before the end of season 4,” she commented. If Mark were the father, this would be a really tough test for Jack.
