In a shocking twist on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Paris realizes that Thomas’s

engagement to her was only a consequence of Hope rejecting him twice. Despite Thomas

treating Paris with respect, she never truly felt his love. His care for her seemed more like

a duty than genuine affection, with their relationship lacking the romantic moments typical of couples in love.

Paris soon understands that she is merely a reluctant substitute for Hope. She begins to question Thomas’s intentions, wondering if he kept her close to remind himself not to miss Hope or to make Hope jealous. Regardless of his reasons, Thomas’s actions show a lack of respect for Paris.
