Recently, Belle confided in her mental health nurse about Tom, and as their conversation unfolded, the severity of Belle’s situation became increasingly clear.

Charity, along with Mandy and Lydia, starts probing for information about Belle’s relationship with Tom, causing Belle to grow increasingly agitated. In a shocking twist, Belle receives a call from Tom during a Dingle ladies’ night out, catching her off guard. Charity, sensing something amiss, ends the call abruptly, much to Belle’s frustration. Despite Charity’s persistent efforts to get Belle to open up about the truth, Belle becomes defensive and shuts Charity out.

In a vulnerable moment later in the pub garden, Belle breaks down, but her emotional release is cut short when she spots Tom approaching in a panic. Belle hastily pushes Charity away and flees home, leaving Charity concerned but unable to intervene further.

Days later, Charity and Belle cross paths on the street, where Charity reaffirms her support for Belle but respects her autonomy as an adult. She offers herself as a safe space for Belle whenever she’s ready to talk, but Belle remains distant, having seemingly closed herself off.
