Meanwhile, Josh, the real culprit, has threatened Samson to stick to his false story. Feeling guilty but pressured, Samson tells the police that Matty was the one who stabbed him.

Moira’s Visit to Matty and Confrontation with Samson

After visiting Matty in prison, Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) becomes fixated on revenge. Shocked to hear that Matty hasn’t showered since his arrival, Moira is determined to save him. Over at the Dingles, Cain (Jeff Hordley) confronts Samson, urging him to tell the truth and not let Matty rot in jail, but Samson continues to lie.

The next day, Moira regrets her cruel words to Cain, but a drunken Cain returns to Butlers Farm, leading to a spiraling altercation that leaves Moira shaken, realizing that her marriage and life are falling apart.
