Ways Janelle Brown has been struggling in Season 18 of Sister Wives. Though she knows that there is nothing left between her and Kody Brown, she keeps holding out hope. It has become very Meri Brown of her except Kody is actually willing to work things out with Janelle. They have fought viciously, he has accused her of gaslighting when it is quite the contrary. Furthermore, Kody has wanted Janelle to choose between her kids and him. Of course, she picked her kids first and foremost. Former third wife and close friend, Christine Brown has been trying to encourage Janelle to leave but she is conflicted. Now, fans believe Janelle is actually a backstabber but how? She worked hard for her family and was the one pushing for something to be built on Coyote Pass. According to a Reddit thread, a fan felt that Janelle actually was not the best sister wife to Christine.

This comes after Kody has repeatedly claimed Christine was a bad sister wife to Janelle and Meri Brown, always complaining and venting. The OP wrote this: “I’m rewatching old seasons and I just feel like Janelle has always taken advantage of Christine being a stay-at-home mom. She says she would go to work before the sun is up and even smiles while bragging that she doesn’t have to rush home to her children and can go to the movies because her sister wife will watch them. After watching them all day at that point.” They then went on to point out how Janelle Brown’s eldest son, Logan Brown, got her kids ready in the morning. Plus, it was noted that she was favored because she had mostly sons, which Kody used to dote on. The big clincher was the fact that Janelle knew Meri before coming in as the second wife. One Redditor pointed out how Janelle was fine with Kody claiming he was not attracted to Christine. Yet, if he said it about her, she would have left. Therefore, they feel it is wrong she’s fine with him talking trash about Christine and even Meri but would not tolerate those words directed at her. Someone else said Janelle was very “cold” while others continued to point out how she went behind Meri’s back to join the family. Had she not been married to Meri’s brother, would it have mattered as much? Finally, some believe Janelle was a sister wife to Christine but not necessarily a friend to her.
