EastEnders’ Yolande Trueman has made a big decision after a dramatic baptism

in the show’s latest episode. Yolande has been struggling since she was sexually assaulted

by Pastor Clayton back in April. After she bravely opened up to husband Patrick about

her ordeal, she also told member of the church Levi, who promised to investigate – but when Yolande and Patrick returned from holiday last week, they discovered that Levi had left Walford. Denise took this time to speak to Yolande, and she asked if something had happened between her and the Pastor, but she didn’t reveal the truth. Pastor Clayton overheard, and he intimidated Yolande, checking that she hadn’t told Denise anything. As Yolande hid in the foyer, Bernie arrived, having changed her mind about attending the baptism. They had an emotional chat, and Bernie remarked that she’d always thought Yolande was brave.
