Season 4 of Virgin River is expected this year on Netflix; and while they wait,
fans of the romantic drama keep returning to previous episodes and they just
encountered a plot problem for one of its characters.
Virgin River, the fantasy drama which tells the love story between Jack and Mel, was first broadcast on the streaming platform Netflix in July last year. With the fourth part in post-production, fans are waiting for new episodes to hit their screens in 2022.
Virgin River fans can’t wait to find out what happens between Jack and Mel when the show returns. Recall that the romantic couple is not going through a good period in their already complicated relationship, because she is pregnant, but she does not know if the baby is Jack’s or the product of in vitro fertilization.
Without a doubt, it is a plot that has left Virgin River viewers anxious, as Netflix assures that Mel and Jack in season 4 will go through many moments of weakness, when the characters return with the new episodes. However, that won’t be the only plot twist as Charmaine is also pregnant and being manipulated by her new love interest, Todd.
Virgin River fans may be impatient, but to entertain them while waiting for season 4 to arrive on Netflix, they are looking back at the 30 episodes that the drama has to its credit and which are currently available on the platform.
Virgin River viewers have taken to social media after watching a few episodes of Virgin River to discuss a mistake they found in the plot that they haven’t forgiven, just because it was so obvious. This detail is linked to the story of Paige Lassiter and her young son Christopher.
Fans know that in the Netflix drama, Paige, whose name is actually Michelle, is on the run with Christopher from her abusive ex-husband named Wes. In the series, she and her son arrive in Virgin River and immediately change the boy’s name and dye his hair.
However, Virgin River fans noted that the Netflix series’ mistake was showing Paige unchanged in her physical appearance, when its goal was to destabilize her ex-husband and anyone else who might recognize her. This is a part of the plot that makes no sense according to loyal viewers.
