In the upcoming Emmerdale episode on June 12th, Belle King faces a deepening struggle

as her abusive husband Tom disregards her wishes about their baby. Belle is disheartened when news

of her pregnancy spreads through the village without her consent. Earlier in the week, Belle

received a positive pregnancy test and tried to keep the news private as she weighed her options. However, when Tom threatened violence again, Belle revealed the pregnancy to protect herself Tom’s reaction was immediately different, switching to celebration mode, but Belle felt trapped by his sudden change. In the latest episode, Tom reiterates his promises to change for the baby’s sake, giving Belle hope that their marriage might still work. But her hopes are dashed when Tom shares the news with his colleague Rona at the cafe.

Soon, Tom’s aunt and uncle, Nicola and Jimmy, are also informed. Belle is furious when she arrives at the cafe and is congratulated by Jimmy. She had specifically asked Tom not to tell anyone at this early stage of the pregnancy. Feeling her privacy invaded, Belle struggles with Tom’s manipulation as he tries to calm her. Eden Taylor-Draper, who plays Belle, explained, “Belle knew Tom would do this. She wanted some time to take a step back. She’s aghast when she walks into the cafe and sees Jimmy, Nicola, and Paddy congratulating her.”

Later, Tom books another appointment for Belle, surprising Wendy, who suspects something is wrong. Wendy tries to talk to Belle alone, sensing that there’s more to the story. The upcoming episodes promise intense drama as Belle navigates this difficult and emotionally charged situation.
