Sharon exposes Linda’s murder of Keanu in shocking EastEnders twist that could have dire consequences

This following article contains spoilers from an episode of EastEnders

that hasn’t aired on BBC One yet, but is available to view on BBC iPlayer.

The secret’s out… again… as Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) knows everything

about The Six’s murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters). He now joins Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) in knowing that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was the one who drove a meat thermometer through his back in order to save best pal Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).

It all kicked off last week when Keanu’s mum Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) returned to the Square for his cremation, and went to the prison to visit Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo), who was framed for his killing.

Dean was adamant that he wasn’t behind it, and for a moment it looked as if Karen believed him, but in last night’s (17th June) episode she confessed that she thought maybe she’d allowed her emotions to get the better of her.

Phil Mitchell confronts Sharon Watts in EastEndersThe conversation in the Queen Vic was overheard by Callum Highway (Tony Clay), who spoke with Phil about his suspicions. In turn, the hard man then made it his mission to find out the truth and headed to Sharon’s house.

To make matters worse, on his arrival, an unusual text from Linda came through regarding Karen’s departure and Callum’s questions – consider Phil’s eyebrow well and truly raised!

As bold as brass, he asked Sharon outright what was going on and she tried to palm it off as Linda’s alcoholism. Later, she admitted that her mate was terrified of Dean’s actions and was scared that if Callum were to do some digging, he’d believe him.

Phil was having none of it, and with his ex-wife keeping shtum, he stormed through the hallway and went to charge into the pub to confront Linda, knowing she would break under her vulnerability.

But he didn’t have to bother – Sharon admitted everything. After breaking down in his arms, he was in disbelief that Johnny and Jack knew and he didn’t – with a wealth of experience concerning dead bodies, surely he’d be the one she turned to!

Sharon emotionally admitted that if she was to be sent down, she’d need Phil to be there for their son Albie.

Phil suggested throwing Linda under the bus to save the others, but that wasn’t to be as they’d all have so much to lose if the full truth came out in court.

Promising to keep it under his hat, the two shared a sweet moment and kissed… are Sharon and Phil set to reunite?
