While Camden wasn’t a long-lasting character, Padalecki was well-received by Fire Country fans for his portrayal of the Training Captain, even though he had a tough time getting along with Bode Leone (Max Thieriot). Camden hailed from Southern California, and though his style was a bit different from a traditional Edgewater firefighter, he fit in well with the rest of the team.
After a stretch of episodes, Camden’s time in Edgewater was up, and though he headed back to Southern California it was clear Fire Country fans would be interested in seeing more of him. With potential for a spin-off tentatively titled Fire Country: Surfside, Padalecki may find himself set up for another CBS series, but he should make a pitstop first.

Many Were Hopeful To See Fire Country: Surfside Soon

While Padalecki has been a part of several successful TV shows in the past decade, his most notable has been Supernatural, which lasted 15 seasons. After Supernatural, Padalecki moved into several different roles and ultimately landed on Fire Country for his short arc, but viewers were surprised to see how impactful the character was. For Bode, Camden became an inspiration.
Padalecki Should Take A Pitstop On Tracker Before His Next Project
Preferably On An Episode With Jensen Ackles

Although Padalecki could become the star of his own Fire Country spin-off, he should take a stop over on another CBS series before committing to a starring role of his own again. While Padalecki spent years working with Jensen Ackles on Supernatural, the pair have continually found ways to stay in each other’s orbits, and reuniting on another CBS series could be a great move.
While Ackles is currently starring in Amazon Prime’s Countdown, he has ties to another CBS show. Guest starring on Tracker with Justin Hartley, Ackles plays Russell Shaw, the brother of Hartley’s Colter Shaw. While Russell is only a recurring guest star, it could be interesting to see Ackles, Padalecki, and Hartley working together in some capacity on an episode of Tracker.
Though Ackles and Padalecki will be reunited on an episode of Amazon Prime’s The Boys in its next season, seeing the pair alongside Hartley in the world of Tracker would be fascinating. Seeing Colter and Russell working together to help locate someone close to a character Padalecki brings to life could be a fun way to bring him into Tracker’s world.
