Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers reveal more about DS Lisa Swain’s late wife, Becky.
Audiences will recall that Lisa was married to Becky and they had a daughter, Betsy. However, in 2021, tragedy struck when Becky, also a police officer, was tragically killed on duty after being hit by a car.
Earlier this year, DS Swain revealed that the notorious Radcliffe brothers, Matty and Logan, were behind the wheel of the car that fatally hit Becky in the hit-and-run incident.
The two brothers have since been arrested and jailed for murdering their own brother, Mason, who had tried to assist DS Swain in exposing his family’s involvement in Becky’s death.
In recent episodes, Betsy stumbled upon some old documents related to her late mother Becky and demanded answers about her demise, reports Wales Online.

Lisa was concerned about Betsy’s questions, confiding in her new partner Carla Connor that she was desperate to stop Betsy from finding a letter that disclosed Becky was under investigation for corruption before her death.
In next week’s spoilers, Lisa, who is currently receiving therapy following the murder of her colleague Craig Tinker while on police duty, confesses to Carla that she missed her appointment and instead visited Becky’s grave as it would have been their anniversary the following day.
The following day, Lisa is grappling with the fact that it’s her and Becky’s anniversary. Despite Carla and Betsy expressing concern for her, Lisa assures them she’s alright and heads off to a therapy session.
During her appointment with therapist Floyd, Lisa finally breaks her silence, confessing that she suspects there might be more to Becky’s death than what appears on the surface, and questions if she was somehow in trouble.

Later, at the police station, Lisa covertly enters DI Costello’s office and sifts through his emails for any mention of Becky Swain, desperate for answers.
It’s not long before an incensed Lisa confronts Kit Green after spotting his name on the computer requesting access to Becky’s file. What does Kit know and why is he involved?
In the meantime, Carla clandestinely visits Logan in prison, hoping to glean information about Becky.
Later, an irate Lisa informs Carla that she can no longer collaborate with Kit after he went behind her back.
However, will Carla disclose her secret activities and how would Lisa react to this betrayal?
