Fire Country on Netflix: Here’s when Season 2 of the procedural drama will premiere on the streaming platform

After winning over the streaming audience on Paramount+, Fire Country is headed to another streaming platform to reach a new set of viewers. The second season of the procedural drama will soon be available on Netflix.

The show has aired three seasons on CBS so far, and a fourth one is already in development. It tells the story of Bode Leone, a former prisoner who becomes a Cal Fire firefighter as he seeks redemption for his past actions.

The first season of the series arrived on Netflix in 2024, and ever since, fans have been waiting for the next chapter’s release on the platform. Fire Country Season 2 is now set to premiere on Netflix on August 1, 2025.

Fire Country Season 2 to premiere on Netflix in August 2025

In the US, Fire Country Season 2 will become available to stream on Netflix on Friday, August 1, 2025. All 10 episodes of the season will be dropped on the same day, so audiences can binge-watch the series. The licensing rights will reportedly last till August 2027.

The season, which was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes, originally aired on CBS from February to May 2024. In European countries like France, Poland, and the Netherlands, the season will be streamed on Netflix later in 2025, but the exact date remains to be announced.

Meanwhile, the first season of the series was brought to Netflix in 2024 and earned 9.3 million views. Considering the yearly trend, Season 3 might be released on Netflix in 2026. The streaming deal does make sense, as Fire Country has remained a top-performing show for CBS across all its seasons.

Audiences have loved the dynamics between the firefighters, especially the relationship between Bode and Gabriela, and Bode’s equation with his family. The high-octane missions that the firefighters accomplish only add to the thrilling nature of the storyline. At the same time, this year’s Los Angeles wildfires have made the show all the more relevant to viewers.

Owing to the positive reception of the audience, Fire Country has been renewed for a fourth season, which is set to premiere on CBS on October 17, 2025. New episodes of the season will simultaneously be streamed on Paramount+, while Netflix users might have to wait for two years for the fourth season’s release on the platform.

Created by Max Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater, the series stars Thieriot as Bode, Kevin Alejandro as Manuel “Manny” Remy Perez, Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela Perez, Jordan Calloway as Jake Crawford, Billy Burke as Vincent “Vince” Leone, Diane Farr as Sharon Leone, and Jules Latimer as Eve Edwards. However, Stephanie Arcila and Billy Burke have exited the show after the Season 3 finale.
