Debt, Deceit and Dangerous Deals: EastEnders’ Ravi Forces Harry into Drug Work – Is Kojo Next in Line?

Ravi Gulati showed his true colours in EastEnders tonight (Friday, July 11), turning on Harry Mitchell as he enlisted him to pay back the debt that he and Kojo had incurred. This came after Harry inadvertently lost the drugs Ravi had been storing at The Arches – flushed down the toilet by a well-meaning Kojo.

Harry tried to cover his tracks by staging a break-in, but Ravi wasn’t to be fooled. Playing along at Avani’s 16th birthday party, Ravi lulled Harry into a false sense of security before drawing him and dealer Okie outside.

Once there, he showed Harry exactly who he was messing with, brutally beating up Okie. And it was then that he revealed Harry’s future…

Ravi threatened Harry into working for him

After beating up Okie, Ravi turned on Harry. He revealed that he knew full well that there had been no break-in at The Arches, and intended to ‘muzzle’ the man he perceived to have stolen from him.

With Harry in his debt, Ravi told him that he was working for him now – leaving the young Mitchell under no illusions as to who the boss is around here. But how much trouble is Harry in? And does this mean that Kojo’s in the clear?

Ravi reveals his plan for Kojo in EastEnders next week

Ravi wastes no time in putting Harry to work, handing over his first shipment of drugs to shift on Monday (July 14). After a hard day’s slinging drugs for Ravi, Harry returns home, where he gets into an argument with his dad.

Having had enough, Harry decides that the time is right to move out. Kojo, then, is happy to help when Harry needs somewhere to stay. And, against George’s concerns, it looks as though Harry and Kojo are about to become flatmates.

Sensing an opportunity, Ravi tells Harry that it will be easy to use Kojo’s place under his nose. Harry is horrified by Ravi’s suggestion, but will he go along with his new boss’s plans?
