EastEnders enthusiasts have expressed worry for the character Kim Fox, portrayed by Tameka Empson, as they highlight a potential serious health concern for the beloved and humorous social media influencer.

Self-proclaimed ‘Kimfluencer’, Kim, a sociable character, first made her appearance in Walford in 2009 as Denise’s sister, played by Diane Parish, who had arrived three years prior.

At present, Kim is occupied with managing the romantic affairs of Walford residents, including Linda Carter, enacted by Kellie Bright, and organising the recent nuptials of Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who have just tied the knot for the third time.

Despite a tumultuous history in love, Kim is currently involved with Howie Danes, played by Delroy Atkinson, whom she met while seeking justice for her slain husband, Vincent Hubbard, portrayed by Richard Blackwood.

Even though Kim seems to be at the centre of Albert Square’s community and has the world at her fingertips due to her influential career, some soap viewers have been left puzzled by her behaviour, reports OK!.

In recent episodes of the BBC soap, Kim has been seen consuming a significant amount of alcohol at The Queen Vic and The Prince Albert, whilst also teasing locals when inebriated, including Elaine Peacock, played by Harriet Thorpe.

She is also seldom seen with her children, Pearl and Mica, as she mingles and entertains patrons in the pubs.

EastEnders enthusiasts are speculating that Kim Fox may be developing an alcohol dependency and neglecting her children, a stark contrast to her usual portrayal as a social media sensation. Could this signal Kim’s departure from Walford?

A fan on Reddit speculated: “Kim Fox Storyline Theory. In almost every scene lately, Kim has been drinking alcohol and has barely been with her kids, often out drinking alone in places like the Vic.”

They continued, hinting at a potential plot twist: “This, combined with Tameka Empson recently teasing an ’emotional storyline’ for Kim, has led me to believe that she will be facing some sort of alcohol related storyline.”
