EastEnders has confirmed a reunion for Lauren Branning and Peter Beale next week, but their renewed relationship will come under threat almost instantly.
The couple split recently, having struggled with baby Jimmy’s diagnosis and Lauren’s addiction. While they tried to make amends last week, Lauren learned that Peter had secretly asked Johnny Carter about how to get custody of the kids, and ended things again.
In upcoming scenes that will air next week, the two will put aside their differences thanks to a pep talk from Kathy, and then spend the night together. Peter wakes up at Number 25 feeling great about the night before.
Over in the café though, Zack Hudson helps Lauren out with the boys, and she admits that she feels so guilty over their kiss.
Zack tells her not to worry about it, stating it was a one-off and he won’t tell anyone about it.

Later on, Lauren heads down to The Albert to support Peter, who is working at Cindy’s Pride party.
However, Cindy is there, and issues her son’s partner with a stern warning.

Elsewhere, Lauren could soon be in for a family reunion. Max Branning actor Jake Wood is tipped for a shocking return to Albert Square soon, with a return for a recast Oscar already confirmed.
Lauren actor Jacqueline Jossa recently discussed the rumours, but remained coy about what fans can expect.
