After learning that Lou is in big trouble and the Michaelis family are falling apart, Mick plots to escape from prison and reunite with his kids. The dangerous villain already has help on the outside, as he’s in constant contact with Brody via a burner phone.

When Sally shares plans for Tim to take Joanie to a taster day at Weatherfield High, Brody worries about how this could disrupt the plan. Going behind Sally and Tim’s backs, Brody makes a panicked call to Mick.

Lou is being held at the police station following recent events – and things only get worse for her when Mick makes his escape.

PC Jess questions Lou about Mick’s daring bid for freedom, but she denies having any prior knowledge of it.

Daniel attends a job interview at Weatherfield High, but his big moment is interrupted when Mick arrives at the school and demands to have Joanie handed over.

Mrs Crawshaw explains that Joanie has already left, as she got upset when some of the kids teased her about her criminal parents. Forced to resort to Plan B, Mick locks Daniel and Crawshaw into the office and flees to the cobbles.

Mick arrives at Underworld, as he knows that Sally is giving Joanie a tour of the factory while most of the workers are at the pub.

Tim and Sarah are left terrified as Mick appears, clutching a weapon. But Kit isn’t too far behind and a showdown follows between the old friends…

The day after Mick’s rampage, Kit faces life-saving surgery at the local hospital. Sarah, Bernie and Gemma all wait anxiously by his bedside, willing him to come through this.

Meanwhile, Bernie is terrified as Brody is missing. Did Mick manage to escape with his family?

Nick spots Sam struggling after the frightening incident with Mick at the school, but the young lad refuses to talk about it.

Hope fills in some of the blanks, telling Nick that Lily hid in a classroom but wouldn’t let Sam inside. This forced Sam to fend for himself at such a terrifying moment.

Understandably livid to hear this, Nick confronts David about his daughter’s antics.

Deciding to give Aadi a chance, Lauren invites him to join her and Frankie for tea. She explains that she wants to find a way to make amends after she was previously hostile towards him.

As Aadi agrees, he seems oblivious to the fact that Lauren is starting to have romantic feelings for him.

Aadi is at the centre of a commotion on the cobbles, as he’s spotted chasing a masked robber out of the corner shop. He then calls the police, reporting that a guy threatened him with a wrench and forced him to hand over £6,000 from the safe.

Aadi points out that the shop is insured, so it’s not the end of the world, but Bernie notices him acting strangely over the situation. Is there more to the incident than meets the eye?

With his family in chaos once again, Dev returns from his trip to India after six months away.

As Dev asks to know what he’s missed, where will the Alahans start?

Lisa witnesses the robber getting away after the corner shop incident, but fails to step in and deal with the situation.

When Carla asks to know why, Lisa stubbornly refuses to discuss it.

Tyrone continues to voice his disapproval after learning that Kevin has lied to the rest of his friends and family about still being unwell.

Kevin promises that he’ll set the record straight, but only once he and Abi have returned from a weekend away.

Debbie is furious when she finds out that Carla has triumphed in the battle for No.6. Upping the ante, Debbie tries to salvage the situation by making a crazy offer at the eleventh hour.

Ronnie points out that it’s silly to overspend on the house, but Debbie reminds him that she’s a successful businesswoman and urges him to back off, as she knows best.

Ronnie turns to Kevin for support, explaining that Debbie is only fixated on No.6 because she wants to be close to him while he’s going through cancer treatment.

Knowing this isn’t necessary, Kevin begs Debbie not to make any big decisions for his benefit. Will Debbie listen, or will Kevin have to reveal that he’s cancer-free?
