Next week on Emmerdale, Matty faces a terrifying encounter in prison as Robbo
prepares to go on the attack. Elsewhere, Lydia finally starts to doubt Samson’s false story,
while baby Evan’s illness sparks more tension and worry at Home Farm. Robbo bides
his time but spots an opportunity to target Matty when Les heads off for a meeting with his solicitor. With Matty alone and vulnerable in his cell, he’s terrified when Robbo arrives and reveals that he spoke to Amy. Robbo prepares to attack Matty for being trans – will anyone step in to help him before it’s too late? Samson announces plans to leave for his European trip with Josh earlier than planned. This sparks fury from Moira, as she suspects that Samson is trying to escape the heat following his false allegations against Matty.
Moira arrives at the Dingles’ cottage and confronts Sam over Samson’s behaviour. Sam continues to protest his son’s innocence, but Moira refuses to let this go and privately vows to thwart Samson’s escape plan. Lydia also starts to become concerned by Samson’s behaviour as she questions his story for the first time. Her doubts are solidified when she spots Josh threatening Samson to maintain their false allegations. Later, a regretful Lydia approaches Moira. Pleased that someone is finally listening to her, Moira begs Lydia to help. Dawn continues to lose faith in her husband when baby Evan spits up his medication while under Billy’s care.
Nate tries to give Billy some respite and invites him out for some beers, but Billy overindulges and returns home drunk. Kim covers for Billy’s absence, but Dawn has bigger worries on her mind when Evan develops a cough and has to be rushed to hospital. Billy blames himself for not social distancing to protect Evan when he was spending time with Nate. Once again, Kim helps out Billy by wrongly taking the blame.
